The study courses strengthen engineering basics where necessary for the sophisticated applications. This is complemented by modern methods for solving complex interdisciplinary optimization problems. With the modules offered in the catalogue “General Competencies” students will strengthen their abilities for their focus area and gain soft skills relevant for their career. Subjects offered are here e.g. foreign languages, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, The degree programme equips students with methods and technology in the field of powertrain and vehicle body, consolidating the fundamentals of engineering. Students can choose their subjects of study freely from the fields of General Automotive Engineering and Advanced Automotive Engineering. The faculty will, however, suggest exemplary study plans which cover the topics Powertrain Application and Vehicle Simulation. This will enable students to have a free choice of subjects while avoiding overlapping studies.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor degree with a major in Automotive-Engineering or Mechanical-Engineering. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. Application deadline for non EU students is November 30 and May 31.
