The two year MSc programme International Development Studies focuses on worldwide social transformation processes related to livelihoods, agro-food networks and the environment in a dynamic international context. Besides common programme-wide courses, you follow one of four specialisations:-Sociology of Development-Economics of Development-Inclusive Innovation, Communication and Development-Politics and Governance of DevelopmentIn the first year you will mainly follow courses. The second year consists of an MSc Internship and your MSc Thesis.Your are advised to contact the study advisor after you have been admitted to the programme, to discuss your specialisation and to make a preliminary study plan.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 92 and IELTS 6.5).Undergraduate GPA is evaluated and typical requires at least a 3.0/3.3 average. Admission Deadline: May 1
