Profile
The Master of Science in International Health (MScIH) focuses on poverty-related health problems in low- and middle-income countries. To make health services available to those who need them the most, there is a need in many developing countries to improve health policy, make organisation, planning and management more efficient at all levels of the delivery system, and ensure sustainable financing. The MScIH at Heidelberg University has been developed with these factors in mind. The programme aims to provide students with a solid foundation in international public health principles and equip them with the knowledge and competencies necessary to run and initiate sustainable programmes for disease control, health promotion, and health services development across a wide range of populations and countries.
