The MTI 3D research master aims to train experts in interactive 3D technologies. Thanks to the association of laboratory research and field application, they are trained to create new products and services based on virtual technologies – virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D and connected objects.Taught at the Arts et Métiers institutes of Laval and Chalon-sur-Saône, the training favors innovative projects and internships, in France or abroad. The first year thus includes 350 hours of projects and an internship of seven weeks to four months. Many courses are also planned, relating to software tools, virtual environments or even management and communication.The M2 aims to strengthen the expertise of students, with two possible paths: human-machine interactions, perception (at the Arts et Métiers Institute of Chalon-sur-Saône), or innovation management, engineering, advanced virtual reality (downstream). Teachings remain common to all students, regardless of the course chosen: research methodology, 3D imagery and immersion techniques, digital modeling and virtual reality tools, etc.The M2 training also includes 250 hours of projects to help build skills. It ends with an internship of five to six months.Positioned on innovative technologies, the MTI 3D master’s degree offers many opportunities to graduates: R&D manager, teacher-researcher, virtual reality or augmented reality engineer, IT project manager, but also consultant or business creator.
