Profile
The Master of Science in Management, Technology and Economics (MSc ETH MTEC) is a four-semester full-time programme attracting ambitious students with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or natural sciences. The MSc ETH MTEC delivers methodological as well as specialised practical expertise in the areas of economics, product design, innovation, human resources, sustainability, entrepreneurship, marketing, logistics, organisational change, negotiation and leadership.Cross-sector collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking are critical components of business leadership in the new millennium. The programme takes pride in having strong contacts and frequent interaction with entrepreneurial leaders in business and society. Our faculty combines scholarly excellence and a constant engagement with practice.In the first three semesters of the Master’s degree programme, students take courses in core subjects from six skill areas on offer. The programme is supplemented with electives and supplementary lectures from the discipline of the Bachelor’s degree. In the final semester, students run a 6-month Master’s thesis project at one of our chairs and institutes, often in cooperation with an industry partner. Before the Master’s thesis project begins, the course is supplemented with an industrial placement lasting at least 10 weeks.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is December 15.
