Profile
The International Master of Science in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea), is a joint Master program organised by eleven European universities in the field of marine sciences, supported by the European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC). The IMBRSea program is an Erasmus Mundus programme, which builds upon the strengths of the previous International Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC+), and helps to prepare students for the rapidly evolving demands of the blue bio-economy, as well as research in the sustainable use of marine biological resources.IMBRSea courses and thematics were designed taking into account the labor market for marine biologists in Europe, with the chance to gain insight into the inner workings of the market during your Professional Practice internship, as part of your studies. Each student has their own unique experience, with the opportunity to attend a different institution each semester. During the two years of Master studies, you can travel to and stay in up to 8 different countries! You will not only meet many students, lecturers and professionals, but you will also have the opportunity to study at 10 different universities, and complete your Professional Practice internship and Masters Thesis at one of our partners, from around the world.
