The two-year international interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Middle Eastern Studies at the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) in Lund offers highly qualified students an opportunity to become experts on the Middle East. In addition, our education focuses on personal development, giving our students the necessary training and support to be successful in their careers after their education.The purpose of the program is to provide students with a broad understanding of the current Middle East as well as applied and specialized knowledge of a specific field of Middle Eastern Studies. Master’s students have close contact with our research projects, which form a vivid and open environment for studies and research, with excellent opportunities for internships and research involvement. Prolific international experts frequently visit CMES for joint ventures and guest lecturers that are integrated into the Master’s programme. The programme is run in collaboration with a number of Middle Eastern and European academic institutions, as well as with businesses, NGOs and development agencies active in the Middle East.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree in relevant field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency .Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
