The Master’s in North American Studies is an official master’s degree taught by the University of Alcalá (UAH) and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).It is aimed at any graduate or graduate student from any part of the world and discipline with a high level of English, and with a projection of the future investigative and academic. This master’s degree will be taught in English, so it is compulsory for students to have the C1 level of the CEFR.This master’s degree qualifies the student as an expert on the culture, politics and society of the United States, within an interdisciplinary framework around the Humanities, Political, Economic, Social and Historical Sciences.It also provides the ideal foundations for research and is a complement to work in Spanish, international and North American institutions, in sectors such as economic advice, foreign service, international organizations, NGOs, media and cultural institutions, state planning and administration, adult education and permanent training, the publishing industry, library services, and university and non-university institutions, such as public or private research funding organizations, among others.
