This is the only research Master’s in the Netherlands which offers a specialisation in the field of philosophical anthropology.We offer a broad range of themes within philosophical anthropology. Although our main areas of focus and expertise are:The phenomenological tradition, which emphasises the importance of the bodyPsychoanalysisGender en feminist theory which includes sex and sexuality as well as social and political scienceWe guarantee that abstract philosophical theory is constantly made tangible with concrete every-day examples and experiences.As a research Master’s student, you’ll be affiliated with the Center for Contemporary European Philosophy, and will take part in activities of this research group.Our students rate this Master’s programme 8,6 out of 10 according to the National Student Survey 2019.
