Profile
As a natural science, physics not only explores the basic laws governing our world but also provides the foundations for all technical development. Many new developments of great practical importance today are the result of insights and hypotheses in the field of physics. With its varied range of electives, the Master’s degree programme offers students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in one or more areas of physics. Particular value is placed on flexibility and learning through research within a research group. The six-month Master’s thesis project may be conducted in the field of Experimental or Theoretical Physics. We aim for a Master program with a broad selection of courses, covering all major aspects of modern physics. The Master program should encourage breadth, but it should also enable students to specialise if they choose to do so.
