The English-language master’s program Political Science is aimed at students who want to deepen political science and methodological knowledge already acquired in a bachelor’s degree. Priorities can be set in the subject areas “Democracy and Legitimacy”, “Comparative Political Science”, “Politics on Several Levels: Austria and Europe” and “International Relations”. Students should be systematically introduced to political science research in two of these subject areas. In addition to imparting technical and methodological skills, the aim of the course is to enable students to develop innovative research questions,The master’s program in Political Science prepares students for a scientific career, but also opens up a wide range of opportunities for graduates to work outside the university. Above all, it qualifies students for responsible activities in public administration, interest groups, international organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in the area of press and public relations as well as in the foreign higher service.

Admissions Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences or in a related field. Application deadlines for non EU students are August 10 and January 10.
