Built on previous experience of the various lecturers engaged in cultural diplomacy and scientific projects, The Master of Science in Public and Cultural Diplomacy aims to train students with diverse backgrounds, from social sciences to human ones, wishing to improve their basic knowledge in the context of new international relations and cooperation. At the center of the training program there are two macro-themes: the role of intercultural negotiation and construction of cultural institutions and policies at the international level. The core subjects are history, political science, cultural heritage of some areas such as the Mediterranean, geography, development economics and international law. The complementary disciplines favoring the completion of different formative experiences: on the one hand the preparation of experts in public diplomacy and conflict resolution, the other the training of operators in the cultural institutions at the international level. The degree is anchored in class Science for Development Cooperation, with a strong emphasis on international studies, which are, however, approached in significantly different than existing programs mode. It is indeed an innovative program in the aspect of educational provision, as well as in international partnerships and the organization of training courses. Most of the lessons are designed specifically for this project, looking to the new professionalism of public diplomacy: international cooperation, design and dissemination of culture on a global scale, social communication of cultural enterprises, conflict resolution practices, design of cultural policies, facilitation and mediation inter-cultural, scientific journalism. Particular attention will be given to the work on the field, the training seminars needed to develop practical skills for this type of program and the final test. The course of study is offered entirely in English.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor degree with a major in related field.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application period for non EU students is from July 25 to December 23.
