Strategic Human Resource Management is a broad programme focusing on Human Resource Management issues that are important to an organisation’s strategic policy.The programme’s other distinctive features include:-strategic HRM issues with a public dimension-current cases, and the development of competences for application in everyday practice-small scale teachingYou will work on current cases, and doing research will familiarise you with the realities of everyday practice. The programme is based on a didactic concept of task-focused and competence-focused teaching. By completing specific tasks, you acquire the requisite competences for your future in professional practice. This Master’s programme involves studying specific elements of HR policy, such as recruitment and selection, training and development, assessment and remuneration. In addition to gaining an understanding of the theory and research in this area, you will learn how to apply this knowledge when analysing policy issues that organisations have to deal with in their environment.
