The MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering is intended for students with a background in engineering or physical sciences, who want to take a more technical perspective on developing and engineering sustainable energy systems.This is a highly adaptable programme based on practical and fieldwork experience. Students study sustainable energy from the perspective of business, science and technology, and learn about a wide range of renewable technologies that suit different regions and societies. This includes geothermal energy, hydroelectric power, wind power and energy efficiency. Taking advantage of Iceland’s position as a global leader in renewable energy development, our students experience the whole sustainable energy process from the power plant to the development of sustainable energy law at government level. On completing the programme students will be able to apply their skills and knowledge to developing solutions to energy related problems.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with major in engineering related field.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.The application deadline for non EU applicants is February 1. There is Early Action Deadline: November 31.
