The aim of the program is to qualify young academics for the interdisciplinary context of educational sciences and psychology. With regard to empirical educational research, particular attention is paid to the study of teaching and learning processes in a wide variety of educational contexts.Modules in the first semester: Introduction to methods in teaching and learning science; Reading and administration of literature; Writing and presentation skills; Institutions in the international context of educational systems; Models of teaching and learning. Modules in the second semester: Educational processes and outcomes (I); Educational institutions and quality development; Instructional design of classrooms. Modules in the third semester: Educational processes and outcomes (II); Analysis of variance; Video analysis; Analysis of interview data, learning journals and portfolios; Research on teaching and learning: specialization; Research internship; Internship in educational institutions. Modules in the fourth semester: Master’s Thesis.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with a major in a related field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non-EU students is May 31.
