Profile
The Master of Arts in Transatlantic Studies is a two-year full time interdisciplinary program, which comparatively examines ever-changing relationships between culture and politics in the international context. Upon completion of the studies, students earn a degree in Cultural Studies with a major in Transatlantic Studies. The international atmosphere of the program gives students an opportunity to learn not just from scholarly materials, but also from their fellow students’ diverse experiences of and perspectives on our ever changing and increasingly connected world. Learning alongside students from all continents challenges students to think outside of their own preconceived notions of the world; this is critical for helping students move beyond American, Western or regional perspectives and develop more global ones.
