The continuing education master’s degree in Urban Management addresses the currently most pressing challenges faced by urban conurbations, where upheavals, the pressure to adapt, and accumulated needs create special development tasks and problems. The program aims to equip you with the specialist knowledge required to practically address the problems involved in the management and design of such spatial transformation processes. Teaching is based upon examples drawn from real situations in a global context and places particular emphasis on combining various fields of action which are often treated in isolation. You will acquire a wide range of knowledge relating to organizational, administrative, legal, and fiscal issues in areas such as urban planning and renewal, housing development, environmental sciences, the planning of social infrastructures, and transport management. The program also focuses closely on the skills required for management, communication, and applying for positions.
