The aim of the Master’s programme is for you to gain a broad understanding of the development of and the challenges facing the health and welfare sector in times of globalisation. You will also develop an understanding of management, teams and organisations, evidence-based practice and evaluation. Some courses are mandatory and are studied together with the PhD students in the field of Health and Welfare.The specialisation in Work Life Studies provides a broad and deep perspective on work in the context of welfare state development and global processes, and it presents contemporary perspectives on organisational and leadership development. The specialisation also provides in-depth knowledge of health and occupational problems, practical knowledge of health-promoting leadership and health-related interventions at the workplace. Furthermore it introduces, expands and deepens the understanding of the the general scientific field of Work Life Studies.For the award of a Master’s degree you must complete a degree project of at least 30 credits or two such projects of at least 15 credits each. The objectives of this, as well as of the courses in research design and method, are for you to gain an in-depth scientific perspective in the area of health and welfare. Subjects for the degree project is offered by your chosen specialisation.

Applicants need a previous bachelor degree.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
