Advanced Computational Mechanics
Profile
Advanced Computational Mechanics (ACM) is addressed for students who want to study contemporary problems in theoretical and applied mechanics with computer support. The program contains of the following general topics: basis in mathematics and physics, theoretical mechanics and strength of materials, material science and machining of structures, informatics and numerical methods, mechanics of solids, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, theory of vibration and acoustics, automatic control and mechatronics, intelligent materials. Selected subject can be studied by Erasmus program students.

Admissions Requirements
Signed scan of online application form, High school degree, High grade in mathematics on candidate's high school diploma / leaving certificate, Official confirmation that candidate’s high school degree is equivalent to Polish high school degree, Official confirmation of legality of candidate’s high school degree, Official certificate confirming that candidate’s high school degree allows them to apply for admission to BSc studies in the country of issue, Official Transcript of Records with a legend of marks and education system in candidate’s home country, Scan of candidate’s passport, a photocopy of visa or temporal residence card, or permanent residence card, or other document that allows a candidate / student to stay in the Republic of Poland for the period of their studies, a photocopy of personal insurance plan for the period of studies in the Republic of Poland – to be submitted upon the commencement of classes at CUT, a digital colour photo (JPEG file, 236 x 295 pixels).​
