Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to human biology and medicine, to solve challenges in the healthcare industry. This could be the development of surgical devices, improvements to medical instrumentation, or discovering new techniques in medical imaging.
On this Biomedical Engineering course, you’ll learn from engineers, scientists, and clinicians. This gives you a solid understanding of how engineering improves patient care, whilst having the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a clinical environment – learning about the anatomy and functions of the human biology.
You’ll also develop research and business management skills within the biomedical industry.
Notes
Tuition fees for International students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of your course.
Tuition fees for Scottish students is €2,100 and for the Rest of UK is €10,700.

Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or minimum B average. Any essential subjects to be achieved with minimum GPA of 3.2 or B average in High School Diploma. AP/ACT/SAT scores can still be considered for entry and will be used on a case by case basis.
Essential subjects: Mathematics + another science (Information Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, Physics, or Computing Science) Physics preferred.
