Profile
The BSc in Business Information Systems (BIS) specializes in the key skills that are essential to the success of professionals in modern information technology and information systems. The goals of this four-year degree course are to: educate and provide a worthwhile and memorable student experience collaborate and join with businesses to ensure BIS students gain cutting-edge business skills and IT.
Our BIS Advisory Board, comprising a number of the most senior Irish business executives, is there to advise and ensure UCC BIS courses are world-class, relevant, and attractive to businesses nationally and internationally.

Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA: 3.4/4.0  plus new SAT: Minimum 1380 or ACT: 29. A minimum score of 640 in SAT or ACT 28 in Maths component or AP 3 is required. Applicants are expected to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math, (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended).
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for all students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1. Closing date for late applications is May 1.
