Composition
Profile
Classical Composition is a 3-year BMus programme at the Royal Academy of Music where students work with composition in an artistic and critically reflective manner. Taking the student’s compositions as a starting point, the programme includes a broad range of subjects and projects that form the basis for the student’s choice of further studies and future career. The programme focuses on the student’s composition and technical skills in an artistic context. It includes music communication in practice and in theory, and the programme concludes with a bachelor project where the student specialises in a subject chosen by him/herself.
