The Bachelor of Engineering in Instrument Engineering (BE Instrument Engineering) at Munster Technological University (MTU) is a 4-year program that provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems in a variety of industries. The program is taught in English and is open to students from all over the world.
The program covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Engineering mathematics and physics
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Computer engineering
- Instrumentation and control systems
- Process engineering
- Mechanical engineering
In addition to the core courses, students also have the opportunity to choose elective courses in areas such as robotics, automation, and renewable energy. The program also includes a mandatory internship, which gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of instrument engineering.
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
