Interior Design
Profile
Designing spaces and services with a strong emotional impact: this is what you are going to learn on the Interior Design degree programme at IED Milano. The role of the Interior Designer is increasingly important in our society today. Indeed, Interior Designers are all-rounders with full knowledge of sustainable projects, delivering practical solutions to suit open spaces where human emotions come into play.
You will be working with key elements like air, temperature, comfort, sustainable materials, and lighting. Your aim will be to create a place to convey emotional and physical well-being and comfort, with services that can provide people with a personal and unique experience.
What does really make our degree programme stand out is a typical lab-based approach. This kind of method will help you understand how style, materials and aesthetics can have a significant impact on every project you are involved in.
As you progress along your training, you will get a real start in shaping your future as a designer of new or existing public and private spaces, in such industries as hospitality, wellness and leisure.
