The IMD program is divided into six years. The first two years focus on the basic medical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology. Students also receive instruction in medical ethics, communication, and research. In the third and fourth years, students begin their clinical training. They rotate through a variety of departments, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. In the fifth and sixth years, students continue their clinical training and complete a research project.
