The Law and Business (Hons) program at Atlantic Technological University Sligo is a unique three-year undergraduate degree that combines studies in law and business. This program is the only one of its kind offered in Ireland, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of both legal and business principles.

Coursework: Students will divide their time between law and business modules, exploring the connections between these two disciplines. Law modules cover core subjects like contract law, criminal justice, legal systems, and tort law. Business modules introduce students to marketing, data analytics, macroeconomics, management, business finance, and human resource management.

Focus on Practical Skills: The program emphasizes the development of practical skills required for success in the commercial world. Students will learn how to analyze and evaluate complex business and legal issues, drawing on their knowledge of both fields.

Tuition Fee – the Department of Education pays tuition fees for all full-time students who are citizens of a Member State of the EU and who meet the residency requirements. Most full-time undergraduate students will be covered by the Free Fees Initiative scheme for their tuition fee. Students from Northern Ireland or Great Britain do not have to pay tuition fees to study in the Republic of Ireland. All students are liable for the Student Contribution fee: €3,000. Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 plus: SAT score of 1000+ (1800 prior to 2016) or ACT composite score of 22 and above or 2-3 Advanced Placement Examinations in relevant subjects with grades 3 and above OR 2-3 SAT subject tests in relevant subjects with a minimum score of 600 in each.
