As a mental health nurse, you will care for people in a diverse range of settings, presenting with a variety of mental health challenges. For the BSc version of this course you are not required to complete an honours project or dissertation.
A significant proportion of the population will experience difficulties with their mental health during their lifetime. This course will prepare you to support them in their recovery. You will gain practical and cognitive skills and will leave the course as a competent and confident practitioner.
You will spend 50% of your time learning on campus and the other 50% on placements in hospitals and community settings.
Completing this course gives you both an academic qualification and professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Notes
There is an option for the BSc (Hons) version of this course (you will complete an honours project on a topic of your choosing).
Tuition fees for International students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of your course.
Tuition fees for Scottish students is €2,100 and for the Rest of UK is €10,700.

Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or minimum B average. Any essential subjects to be achieved with minimum GPA of 3.2 or B average in High School Diploma. AP/ACT/SAT scores can still be considered for entry and will be used on a case by case basis.
The essential subject is Mathematics!
