The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Pharmaceutical Science at Munster Technological University is a four-year program that prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. The program covers a wide range of topics, including chemistry, biology, microbiology, and molecular biology. Students also gain practical experience in laboratory work and research. Graduates of the program are qualified to work as laboratory scientists, researchers, and quality control analysts.
This degree is designed to develop your practical skills and competence to work as a laboratory scientist. The focus of the level 8 degree is on the analysis, design, production and regulatory compliance of pharmaceutical products. First year delivers core science modules and fundamental practical skills training and subsequent years build on these areas. Students also cover the relevant key areas of chemistry and biology, such as Applied Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Cell Culture.

The Student Contribution Charge for EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
