The Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (BSc PE) program at the University of Limerick (UL) is a four-year program that prepares students for careers in teaching physical education in secondary schools. The program covers a wide range of topics, including:

The BSc PE program at UL is accredited by the Teaching Council of Ireland, which means that graduates are eligible to teach physical education in secondary schools in Ireland. The program is also recognized by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in the United States, which means that graduates may be eligible to apply for teacher licensure in the US.

Notes
Free Fee Status for EU students: You satisfy all three categories (Residency, Citizenship and Course Requirements - all must be met) and therefore are eligible for the Higher Education Authority’s Free Fees scheme. The current EU student contribution is set at €3,000. All students are liable unless they have been approved for a grant by Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI).
Regular application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Late application deadline for EU students is May 1.
Students admitted to the programme are required to undergo a Garda Vetting process.
Admissions Requirements
High School Graduation with GPA 3.3 and either SAT 1250 with 600 minimum in Math or ACT 25 with 25 in Math.
