Empower movement and improve lives with the University of Salford’s BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy program. This three-year, full-time program equips you with the knowledge and skills to become a qualified physiotherapist, playing a vital role in restoring and maximizing physical function and well-being for a diverse range of patients.
Develop a Strong Foundation: Gain a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and movement science. Learn the principles of physiotherapy assessment, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation approaches for various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory conditions.

Graduates are prepared for diverse career paths in physiotherapy, including:
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy (sports injuries, rehabilitation after surgery, chronic pain management)
- Neurological physiotherapy (stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis)
- Cardio-respiratory physiotherapy (pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation)
- Pediatric physiotherapy (working with children with developmental delays or disabilities)
- Geriatric physiotherapy (working with older adults to improve mobility and function)
- Private practice physiotherapy

Tuition fee for UK students is €10,800.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a combined score of SAT I of at least 1260 with an individual minimum score in mathematics of 570 /800 and an individual minimum score of 610/800 in the evidence-based reading and writing section; or ACT with a score of at least 26; or grade 3, 3, 4 in three Advanced Placement Tests (APs) in specified subjects; or SAT II in three specified subjects at 575 or better (we will accept tests interchangeably as long as in total three subject areas are covered).
Acceptance on the programme is subject to satisfactory Health and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance. As part of the application process, you may be invited to an online interview.
