The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA(Hons) Psychology) program at the National College of Ireland (NCI) is a four-year program that prepares students for careers in psychology. The program covers a wide range of topics, including:

Students also have the opportunity to specialize in one area of psychology, such as:

The BA(Hons) Psychology program at NCI is accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), which means that graduates are eligible to apply for professional membership of the PSI. The program is also recognized by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA), which means that graduates may be eligible to work as psychologists in other EU countries.

Application deadline for EU students is January 6.
Part time option is for EU/Ireland students. Students on this course may qualify for the Student Grant Scheme.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 plus:SAT score of 1000+ (1800 prior to 2016) or ACT composite score of 22 and above or 2-3 Advanced Placement Examinations in relevant subjects with grades 3 and above or 2-3 SAT subject tests in relevant subjects with a minimum score of 600 in each. There is also an option to enter with satisfactory completion of one year of a college/university programme with minimum GPA of 2.8.
