As an applied profession, this course requires students to undertake two semesters of professional placement.
This course emphasises the professional and personal development required to work in the challenging field. Graduates find employment opportunities with the HSE, TUSLA, statutory and voluntary organisations and community-based agencies.
Notes
The EU student contribution applies annually to all free fee eligible students and the current rate is €3,000 per annum. To avail of the funding EU students must meet the criteria of the free fees schemes, as determined by the university a student is attending.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
