The Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) is a public research university in Gdańsk, Poland. Student Life
Within the campus, historic architecture coexists with modern buildings full of well-equipped teaching rooms and highly specialized laboratories. The main building is a monumental structure, built in the early twentieth century and designed in the Neo-Renaissance style by the renowned Dutch architect, Albert Carsten, later a professor of the university. In ASC there are 20 sports sections including swimming, athletics, judo, volleyball, football, tennis, and table tennis. The sports center is located in Wrzeszcz on the main traffic route, close to SKM(a commuter train) and tram lines. They have a modern, newly renovated swimming pool complex, which is used by students during physical education classes. Participation in the activities of circles and student organizations is an excellent way to develop your personality and improve your teamwork skills. Getting involved in scientific or cultural projects will let you share the organizational spirit, and it will bring you satisfaction while still having fun. Student organizations at GUT are numerous and so are their activity profiles.
