Why should I study here?

The Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts officially opened in 1995 when 13 higher education institutes merged to form one. Our founders’ idea was – literally – to have a school with a name. The medieval European emperor was responsible for a vast European empire and brought unity to people, languages, cultures and social-economic systems. And importantly he helped to lay the foundations for Europe’s school system.

What are the admissions criteria?

The application deadline for fall is April 30th.  Rolling admissions is used so the earlier you apply, the greater your chance is for admission. Applicants also need to include a photocopy of their passport. Students receive a decision within three weeks of applying.
