The Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr) is a public university located in Wrocław, Poland. It was founded in 1951 and is one of the leading universities of environmental and life sciences in Central and Eastern Europe. UPWr has over 18,000 students and 2,000 faculty members. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of fields, including:

Student Life
Wroclaw - the meeting place! The city is situated on the Odra river and is a unique city with 12 islands and 112 bridges, very well connected with other parts of Wroclaw. Everyone will find a perfect solution for spending their free time. The city organizes a lot of indoor and outdoor events, there are many restaurants, clubs, and pubs, sports objects, and cultural places like cinemas, museums, and galleries. Two campuses are located in the center of Wroclaw with modern teaching facilities, well-equipped laboratories, lecture halls, and a modern sports center with its own swimming pool. The first campus is located on Plac Grunwaldzki (2 km from Market Square), and the second one is on Biskupin (less than 4 km from Market Square). There is very good communication provided by public transport. It takes 10 minutes by tram to travel from one campus to another. Both campuses are surrounded by many facilities, like markets, shopping centers, and services. Getting to Railway Station or Bus Station, which or located next to each other, from Plac Grunwaldzki takes less than 15 minutes by bus or tram. There are Department of Physical Education and Sport with a swimming pool and a Department of Physical Education and Sport with a sports hall on Campus Biskupin. UPWr has an Academic Sports Association (AZS) which offers 18 sports sections. Students have a discount to use a university's indoor swimming pool. There are 89 Student Scientific Groups at UPWr where students can fulfill both their passion and scientific interests. Each faculty has numerous SSGs which present their achievements at local and international conferences, students can realize internships or take different activities to present their scientific results.
