During the English taught bachelor’s programme Horticulture & Business Management introduces you to the world of plants and the entire chain from producer to consumer. You will learn technical subjects about innovative cultivation techniques, but also about business management, (international) trade, marketing and sales.
Did you know that the Netherlands is the second largest exporter of vegetables, flowers and other agricultural products? It makes sense, therefore, that other countries would like to learn from our expertise in the field of horticulture. In the English-taught Bachelor’s programme Horticulture & Business Management you will discover the key to the Dutch success and learn all about our technical innovations and production methods. All this is set in an international environment, with students from all over the world. Horticulture & Business Management is the English study of the Dutch taught study programme Tuin en akkerbouw.

You pay half of the tuition fee in your first year if you meet the following conditions: You started your 1st undergraduate study programme at a university of applied sciences or university funded by the Dutch government during or after the academic year 2018-2019. You are starting a bachelor degree or associate degree. You pay the regulatory tuition fees. This applies to full-time students, dual study students, part-time students, Open University students and university college students.
Admissions Requirements
Secondary school diploma, equivalent to the Dutch HAVO diploma or higher, with the final-year subjects English, mathematics and chemistry included. Practical (work) experience is useful but not mandatory.
