The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Structural Engineering program at Munster Technological University (MTU) is a four-year program that prepares students for careers in the design and construction of structures. The program covers a wide range of topics, including engineering mechanics, structural analysis and design, and construction materials and methods.
The program is accredited by Engineers Ireland, which means that graduates are eligible to become chartered engineers. It is also recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the United States, which means that graduates may be eligible to apply for engineering licensure in the US.

Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
