Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is a technological university located in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. It was founded in 1970 as Dundalk Regional Technical College and became an Institute of Technology in 1993. DkIT is a member of the Technological Higher Education Association (THEA).

The DkIT Sports & Societies Office runs over 65+ student-led clubs and societies, so whether you want to pursue an existing interest or try something completely new, there is something for everyone – from football to politics, photography to horse-riding, dance to fashion, and even circus arts! There are over 65 registered clubs and societies in DkIT and they cater to all interests, hobbies, and passions. You can even set up your own!
