Due to the growing importance of genomics in plant and animal breeding, the Faculty of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel has established an international Master’s Degree Program in Agricultural Genomics which has been launched in October 2011 after accreditation by a national accreditation agency.This newly designed full time post-graduate Master’s Program is intended for students who hold a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field with fundamental knowledge in genetics, molecular biology, botany and zoology. Classes will be held in English and are open for students from all over the world with interest in crop and livestock production

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a major in agricultural science, biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, genetics, and related disciplines. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non-EU students is June 1.
