Profile
The MSc AIES offers students who have a basic (bachelor) background in engineering, a unique combination of courses in one coherent program that will provide them with knowledge and skills to analyze, develop and implement AI solutions for complex engineering systems, including (but not limited to) the three EAISI application domains: (1) high-tech/smart industries, (2) smart mobility and (3) health. The program addresses the engineering gap between AI-theory and real-world problems. It comprises:a balanced set of AI knowledge and skills: foundational courses, AI-specific courses and skills, AI-knowledge related to particular application domains, and ethically responsible AI-based design engineering;an engineering systems component: courses covering the main abstractions of large and complex technical systems, e.g. modeling, decision making and control;domain specific knowledge which builds upon bachelor level disciplinary knowledge and extends into a specialization application area.
