Biotechnology is a dynamic, expanding scientific field. Currently thousands of companies carry out biotechnological activities in Spain.The future development of Biotechnology as a scientific, technological and industrial activity requires the incorporation of professionals with solid scientific training and knowledge of the business world and its socioeconomic environment.The Master in Biotechnology at the UAM is designed to provide students with a practical experience that allows them to start a research career through access to the Doctorate and / or train as biotechnologists with the skills required to carry out research work or professional activities in companies .The Master is included in the Molecular Biosciences Program that includes the MU in Molecular Biomedicine and the MU in Biomolecules and Cell Dynamics with which it shares mandatory content and skills. Expert teachers in specific areas of Biotechnology participate in the teaching program, with renowned teaching and research careers belonging to different Departments and Faculties of the UAM and different Research Centers.
