Profile
CCD is a master programme in design without the traditional division into design areas, providing in-depth studies in design with the focus towards a specific target group, no matter what design background you have or what your specific design interest is. You will immerse within the design area that interests you, no matter if it is visual communication, spatial design or product design. In some courses we cooperate with external partners and in others you will create projects together with our teachers, within given themes. The themes are not connected to specific design areas but will focus on different areas or perspectives. Examples of themes are: “The playing man”, “Mobility” or “Image and storytelling”. Within the frame of the theme you may choose to immerse into a design area or to work across the boundaries. The starting point of the education is each student’s individual goal and individual in-depth studies within the field of design. The teaching structure is based on lectures, seminars, supervision, literature studies, project work and workshops, both individually and in groups. The purpose of the programme is to provide a multi scientific platform of knowledge and practice, which is utilized into design projects. The outlook is artistic and humanistic, which permeates the curriculum. During the third semester, it is possible to do internships or exchange studies. The language of teaching is English. This programme is for those of you who are professional designers or those of you who recently have finished your first cycle design studies and wish to further deepen your knowledge. You are also able to apply with another background such as e.g. architect or interaction designer.
