Profile
Organizations are hubs in society: they support social structures and mediate and channel social and cultural change. The innovative Master’s programme Culture, Organization and Management (COM) teaches students how, in this age of globalization and fast cultural dynamics, organizations can suffer serious economic and social consequences as a result of inherent cultural bias, continuous change programs, and underestimation of the cultural dimension. Management styles, cultural diversity, organizational identity, cross-cultural co-operations, and inter/national organizational processes are some of the subjects a graduate of the Master’s programme COM is an expert in. This interdisciplinary master’s programme, which examines and delves into organizational culture, offers a unique approach to organization science. This programme combines anthropological and sociological approaches with research-based knowledge, and applies tools of cultural analysis to the workplace. The knowledge students gain will open new career opportunities in both public and private sectors.
