Profile
An international study environment driven by curiosity, dedication and ambition to:Explore Experiment ExpressThis international programme offers three main pathways that are interrelated and structured around the core subjects of fashion. Students specialize in womenswear, menswear or fashion accessories and have the possibility to aim their design skills towards the commercial fashion markets, tone their studies in a more conceptual and artistic direction or towards entrepreneurship. We aim to educate strong independent fashion designers who can manage personally driven and industry-orientated design projects to a high professional standard. The study environment is concentrated around the “Fashion Form Lab”, where MA students develop advanced craftsman- ship and technological skills combined with sound analytical abilities, design methodological and artistic development through reflexive practices and material based experiments.Internships in Danish and/or international Fashion Brands aim to secure a professional industry awareness and a begin- ning professional network.Fashion is global, the language is English – Danish Fashion is the 5th largest export business and is mainly produced outside DK, which is why advanced communication skills and knowledge of technical terms in English is of utmost importance. Candidates from KADK MA Fashion Design will be able to establish themselves as professional fashion designers both nationally and internationally.
