The master’s programme in Global Studies gives you an advanced theoretical knowledge about the social, political, economic and cultural processes associated with globalisation. The emphasis is on the importance of globalisation on power relations, conflict resolution, political stability and international political governance; Of how power relations and political and cultural identities are constructed and challenged; and the operation of the global economy and the current developments in global capitalism.The programme consists of global politics, global political economy and global sociology. You will learn to analyse global issues from different academic perspectives; and to combine these perspectives in the understanding and study of the problems and the possible national and international, political solutions.With particular regard to qualifying you for work in national and international NGOs, private companies, the media, the public sector and regional and international organizations.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree with a major in field of study.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is September 1 and March 1.
