Leiden University’s Master of Laws in Advanced Studies in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration (L.L.M.) is an high-level postgraduate programme on the theory and practice of international dispute settlement and arbitration in international law. The LL.M. Adv. in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration focuses on public international law, but blends in private law dimensions, equipping graduates with skills for a new legal landscape. The requisite skill sets for private or public arbitration or dispute settlement are merging.This master allows you to specialise in international dispute settlement and arbitration with a strong emphasis on international law, while at the same time connecting to other related fields of law, such as arbitration in the international commercial law context. It also includes extra-curricular activities such as a moot courts, programme trips and visits, workshops and group exercises.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Law or a degree at an equivalent level in a relevant discipline with a sufficient background in law and evidence of excellent academic performance, CV, Letter of motivation, Letter of recommendation.
