Public International Law is a one-year Master’s specialisation at the internationally acclaimed Leiden Law School at Leiden University. The programme focuses on the legal framework that governs international relations in an increasingly complex global society. The Public International Law Master’s specialisation is taught by lecturers who possess expertise in a wide range of aspects of public international law, including international criminal law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, the law on peace and security, international institutional law, international dispute settlement, international economic law and international environmental law.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B), academic transcript of relevant prior degree(s) and other documented evidence of relevant experience related to public international law, CV, Letter of motivation, Two letters of recommendation. If you do not possess a full Bachelor in Law, you are required to do a law conversion program that allows you to sit for the bar in the relevant country upon completion. For instance, a J.D. program from the United States satisfies the Bachelor requirement of the Master programme.
