This programme has to do with fundamental aspects of Marine Biodiversity and with changes in the same in time and space. Specifically, the patterns of biodiversity are analyzed at various scales (genetic biodiversity up to the complexity of trophic webs); Identify and analyze factors responsible for the change and loss of biodiversity and the bases for conservation are stated of Biodiversity. The models and theories behind the buffering strategies are analyzed, minimize or correct biodiversity losses. The multidisciplinary bases of this module are essential to understand the role of biodiversity in ecosystems. Specifically, teaching in this [programme will provide the student with:1. Familiarity with the patterns of biodiversity at different scales.2. Conceptual bases for the detection of changes in marine ecosystems.3. Basis for predicting future changes and potential responses
