The Master’s degree programme in Materials Science and Engineering is an interdisciplinary study programme that focuses on (i) environmentally friendly production and recycling of metals, (ii) the chemical, physical and mechanical aspects of alloy development and use, as well as (iii) development of new materials and the use of materials for energy purposes (batteries and fuel cells).The knowledge and experience gained within the areas covered in the present study programme will be of importance for the material industry both internationally and for Norway as an industrial nation. Programme offers three specialisations:-Resources, Energy and Environment-Material Development and Use-Materials for Energy Technology

Admissions Requirements
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree with a major in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgy, Inorganic/Physical Chemistry or Chemical engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency. Application deadline for non EU students is December 1.
