The use of mathematics will become even more prevalent in future. There is an ever-increasing demand for mathematical models and methods in, e.g., industrial applications, information technology, financial institutions, energy, government issues, drug development, DNA mapping, and environmental research.The study programme offers courses at a high academic level, providing you with extensive knowledge of applied mathematics and mathematical modelling as well as modern computer equipment and analysis of large data volumes.The Mathematical Modelling and Computation programme covers a wide range of specializations. To provide a general overview of the study programme, we have chosen to describe a number of focus areas which you can use as a guide to designing your own study plan.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with a major in Science in Engineering, Engineering, or Natural Science. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non EU students is January 16.
